Well, I was winning this Smurf with only ten seconds to go, but then you had to bid higher... Were we the only two to notice that this is the rare variation?

Anyway, it's not too bad, as I had won only three minutes before this interesting couple of Smurfs...

Congratulations guys

That Basketballer is definately one a lot of us really want....I am hoping to get one from a seller in Germany but I'm not sure if they have one...I am just keeping my fingers crossed.

And Fram.....they look absolutely amazing. I have never seen these before so I am guessing these are rare???? They shouldlook fantastic in your collection.....well done....and not a bad price either.

I hadn't seen those two before either. They may be homemade perhaps, but then they are of a very high quality (it seems). I hope they'll have some markings, but anyway, I think they will look very nice. Now to find the other four hundred Smurfs in this format as well

Oh, and to remove all possible doubt: I'm not mad at David, I would have done the same if I really wanted a Smurf :-D

Man! I had no idea it was you! I didn't know what your ebay ID was! Sorry! I had seen this smurf on another auction that Rachel was bidding on (and won) so I decided against bidding on that one... and as I found that one, I thought no need to bid against Rachel, I'll just for that one! and I thought "Hooray!"... I didn't realise it was you...

If I spot another one I will forward it to you...

I can't say that I'm not glad I won it! :):):)

Cheers,

David

Hi Fram

I would also like to know if these have any markings....I agree, they do look very well made....I know I would love to have one.

I thought that might have been it. And even if you had known it was me, you still had every right to bid of course (hey, you still have it cheap, I think). I often wonder on seeing an eBayname if it is one of us or not (I know the ones from all major bidders here, including most moderators and a few others like Lucie and Bunno).

I appreciate the forwarding of any other one you come across though, I just hope I'll be able to win it for 3 Euro as well

Hi guys, Thanks David for the other night

I am glad you have got it now, it is a nice variation. Fram I will keep a look out for another one for you and Dyar of course. :D

I got lucky the other night as there were a couple of variations in there that I was after including the HK Ballgown smurfette.

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......
