When do we think we will hear about the smurfs for 2014 I'm being a little early, but just wondering if anyone has had any sneak previews.

I think sellers usually get a sneak peak around end of October? We should be soon able to see which smurfs will be discontinued..those are usually shown on the Schleich website as collectible items

I am also looking forward to seeing the new smurfs.

If I am looking back I think the last time I have been MORE than pleased, since I am Always pleased with new smurfs, is when the Halloweensmurfs were shown for the first time.

They are my kind of smurfs. Comiclike and fantastic ideas. From the fairytales. Still hoping for a moment like that.

Yeah, I love the Halloween smurfs too. A great idea So the rumours on Facebook are that they will be pirates I wonder how many of them they will do and why they chose pirates... if the theme is pirates.

I'll say no more The rest of the Film smurfs are being retired going by the Schleich website

Actually, not sure if those are the next to be retired or if they have been retired already as they are collectors items for 2013. Will they list collectors items for 2014?

I am really looking forward seeing the new smurfs.

It was a long time since a theme like that was made. But I will try to keep my expectations down so I won't be dissapointed.

What could they be? One-eyed, wooden leg, parrot, canonball???
