Thank you for your comments...they mean a lot.
It was a very weird day. It started out with the news that the husband of one of my best friends passed away, then I learned that kinfolks of another close friend of mine were missing after a boating accident..and one is presumed dead..and then Petee passed away. It did end on a smurfy note though with a visit to the movie theater
My grandmother is taking Petee's death especially hard..she hasn't been around when my other pets died so this is a new experience for her and like Dyar said, Petee was a very kind and nice dog so we all felt close to him.
BTW..not sure what it is with Dyar and dogs....all of mine ate out of his hands..and last year he had Georgie (a very hyper dog) practically hypnotized with love...must be from constantly being in the dog house ..(Dyar..not Georgie who prefers to be on top of the doghouse)
