Hello All!! I had a WONDERFUL DAY! I spent the whole day with my 9 week old great-niece!! Her name is Samaira, which in Hindi means Goddess. She is half Indian(India) and half Mexican. You can see her pictures here at her baby blog - Samaira's Blog

Thanks Mo & Staci, I am biased so I always thought she was cute, but it was a great day, I love spending time with her she is such a good baby. It was alot of fun, we had a family cook out, and there were 4 generations there at one time! :-D

Thanks Dom, I was just informed today that me and my husband are her official spanish instructors now, her dad speaks to her in Hindi, and we are to speak to her in Spanish (my neice, her mother, doesn't speak spanish but understands it) so she grows up speaking both languages of her birth. They already have made plans to have her tutored in german and french as well when she gets a bit older as well as vietmenese and korean so she will be multilingual. :shock:

Great to hear that she will be raised in Hindi and in Spanish. Learning other languages at a tender age sounds great, but they shouldn't overdo it.
