Hi all after seeing the movie it got me thinking about making some string puppet smurfs similer to the ones in the movie. Well i managed to gather enough odds and ends of clay together money being very tight at the mo and managed to make my first smurfy string puppet.

i wanted to start with somthing a little difrent so I have made a black angry smurf his mouth even opens and closes just like the ones in the movie hehe.

Hope you like?

He is funny, Steve...just perfect for the Halloween season :) :)

Have you aggravated your pup with him yet? 8-)

BTW...how is your pup reacting to all of your smurfs?

He looks like the scariest Smurf ever! :yikes:
But he's lovely!

Think you should do at least one "normal" smurf, that one is an essential one, IMHO! :D

You managed to make a work of art yet again, looking forward to what you'll make next.

Well I have no clay left now. :( But I had just enough to make my next one, Smurfette with flapping winged butterfly on flower string puppet. The butterfly can flap its wings and smurfettes mouth can open and close like the others too. :D
