Hello,
Blue Cavern is now on Facebook.

It's a member only group, so if you would like to join follow this link
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=344427343595

This group is NOT intended to replace this forum and should only be used for announcements or special events that are happening on here.

Since Andre had the idea (to put pictures of the WT on facebook) he will be one of the Admins. I will be the other one for now.

Please do not feel that you have to sign up on Facebook so you can join this group. Like I said....all the discussions will be done on here, but the Facebook group will help us to get announcements out faster..and will also introduce a wider audience to smurfs and the world tour of our little travelling smurf :D

Facebook is great isn't it. Why not create a public fan page instead of a locked group. Smurfy news would show up in the news feed. People could get motivated to post on the forum more often. I'm sure there are also other benefits I don't even know of. :D

Welcome back, Gert...I wasn't sure if you were still smurfiing or not :D

I am not too sold yet on the idea of Facebook and pretty much keep an account to network with (funnily enough) my local friends, some not too local but very old friends, and to farm on it :)

Only the wall posts of the BlueCavern group are viewable to members only...Once we get the time to update the group with pictures from the world traveler they will be open to everybody so I think keeping it a locked group is not a problem. I just don't want spammers to get on there and start posting as this would be too much trouble to keep up with.

Also, most parts of the forum are open to everybody so if people are interested they can keep up on the news or join us here as well as on Facebook :D

Just wanted to remind everybody, that we are really going with the times now and have been on Facebook for 18 months :) :) :) :)

It's a closed community so if you are interested in chatting with us on Facebook as well, just ask to join and you will get approved. Also, feel free to add your smurfy friends to the group...you don't have to be a member on here to be a member on there...or vice versa

It's a closed community for privacy reasons so we can talk about smurfs in there without bothering our non smurfing friends with our smurf talk :) :) :)

Facebook is really great to reach more people more quickly..but rest assured our main discussions will always take place here
