Antwerp based event and PR agency Twins won an award for the "Happy Smurfday Euro Tour" in the city of Milan on Thursday. Twins received the award for the "European Best Event Award" for the "Happy Smurfday Tour" campaign .
In co-operation with Unicef, the anniversary was celebrated throughout Europe. The international jury praised "the brilliant idea of setting one-hundred thousand white smurfs free to acquire creativity as a success in fifteen European countries."
"Happy Smurfday" consisted of nightly smurf invasions in various cities, an special exhibition and it was held in co-operation with fifteen European countries. The campaign fetched up more than 275,000 € with the profit going to Unicef's educational projects.
