I'm so sorry to hear about your loss Andrew, I hope he went peacefully and did not suffer. I guess in a situation where the dog is already old you just hope he does not suffer in the end. Always sad to loose a pet. Hang in there.. times will get smurfier!

Hi Andrew,
Sorry to read about Toby. I am sure he will be remembered for a long time. It is never easy losing a pet. I still often, go to put the left overs in a bowl for our dog and she died nearly 12 months ago. They play such a major part in our lives and for so long.

I know what you mean Kira......I still think to do that too until I realise.

I am so sorry to hear that your dog died! I remember my Auntie had a
lovely black pony, I used to ride her all the time. Her name was Maggie,
I was so unhappy when my Auntie told me that Maggie died in the night.
I was sad for ages! But you get over it, because you know their somewhere better. :dogrun: :dogrun:

Thanks Riding Smurfette :D

It's sad that he's gone and he will be very missed but he did have a good life and it was always nice having him around the house. He was getting very old so I am sure he is in a happier place now without all of the aches and pains.

Hi Dyar,

I'm sorry to respond so late (I just found the post).

I get along better with dogs than people, so you have my heartfelt sympathy.

I also enjoyed the pictures you posted of him in the past.

I have three Pekingese, two of whom are growing long in the tooth.
