Can someone please tell me more about the white mattress variation. I recently purchased one and I am now curious to know what more about this variation.

The mattress has the markings W.Germany Schleich S © 1983 Peyo and the smurf has Made in China markings which I thought was odd. Happy to add more pictures if that helps.

Is it possible the mattress was originally from the Smurfette’s Bedroom Playset?

I think I know what the white matress is! The super smurf set with the sleeping smurf in the red nightshirt has a white bed variation. Well, the bed is sort of an off-white, but the matress is white. I found it on page 171 of “Der Schlumpf Katalog 2000.” I will try to upload photos of it that I took.

Close-up of print in case anyone can read German. (I only know English and French.)

I found a wee bit more info on the white mattress/bed in "Der Schlumpf Katalog IV" on page 193. See picture.

Here is a close-up of the print for the bed from "Der Schlumpf Katalog IV" I think it is German, but maybe it's in another language. If it's not English or French, I pretty much cannot identify it...
