I just want to show you these variations I just got regarding the tags and blue dots.

As you see in the us they tags were marked with country they were made in. Not as I have got them in Sweden and Germany?? :-?

Blue dots were not only used in Portugal as we talked about earlier. :D

Sorry, but I'm confused...
Since when does Schleich make Smurfs in Portugal?? I thought that them made in PT were old smurfs, and that was old story... :-? But these are brand new tags... on older smurfs? :-?
There are those who believe that life here began out there...

Hi Sandra,

Schleich used the factory in Portugal all the way to at least 2010. But I have the feeling that they maybe do not use it anymore?? :-?

In the Schleichbook from 2011 they write that themselves. And there are a lot of smurfs marked CE and portugal.

So they started using Victor Maias factory in around 1977/78. I am not sure when the last new smurfmold marked Portugal was made, But we know that one of the snowboard smurfs were marked made in portugal and that one was made in 1998. But I have to check if any other new mold was made in Portugal after that or if they only painted smurfs after that??? More and more smurfs were made in China after that year. :D

I bought a lot with many new smurfs in bags of 5. My interest was the soccerdisplay though. I did not have that one before. But I got over 100 smurfs all together.

So in regard to the bluedot portugalgraduation I have a few extra. :banghead:

All items in this lot is from 2004 and meant to be sold in the US I believe. :D

The display with all the soccersmurfs was packed 18 May 2004. The supersmurfsboxes are dated to october 2003.
