Finally I got the missing number 1 shelf sold by BP in Holland 1976/77. With the dutch names used on the smurfs then. I also got a few other BP items and some smurfs sold during those years in Holland. :-D

For some reason I can not add pictures??? :-?

Can other members add pictures?? Is it something with the web, or at my place? :?

In Sweden the smurfs are blue ( and yellow).

Hi Andre

You have some nice smurfy items and can't even show ?
How cruel is that :-?

Yes that is cruel, :(

But I am happy that I got another display on it´s way to me also. Together with some nice smurfs to help me with the historyinvestigations.

It is intersting that the BP shelves could be genuine both with the old smurf, painted like the old Schleichsmurfs. But also with the new colours they used around 1977. Therefore I will display the BP shelves with the Bully-smurfs from 1977, like on the ad Lia posted. And then use the smurfs made by Bully in 1975/76 for the Bullydisplay sold in germany then.

That way those two displays will be different but still 100% accurate with the correct smurfs. :-D Eventhough both displays were actually sold during the same time but in different countries. :o

Was that to much information in those sentences to make sence to you? It is hard to write and think at the same time, at least for a man? :banghead:

André, maybe you got get an account at one of those free sites for pictures, upload the pics there and then post them here as links. ;)
There are those who believe that life here began out there...

Thanks!

I actually have 10 000 MB space on my website and blog and have only used 236 MB yet so I can easily add a picture there also. :D Because of limited spare time I have not done so much with those lately.

But it is always easier to have them in the same thread. I am sure Maureen will fix this soon. :D

I've just looked at the admin page and all seems okay, I just attached a photo and it posted okay, so hopefully it was just a server issue.
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Just saw this thread now...Lia contacted me and I deleted some old threads with lots of non-smurf related pictures and we should be ok now. We simply ran out of space which is not too bad considering how long we have been online :D

Another way you can always post pictures in the same thread is to upload them to another site (one of them Ron mentioned or your own website if you have one),
right click on the picture, choose save image URL,
post the url on here, highlight it and click on Img.
