hi, i'm not sure if i've posted in the right place, just wanted to say hello to you all.
i've just got back into smurfs, after stumbling upon my small collection i bought as a child in the 1970/1980s. They were hiding in my parent's garage...i seem to have become addicted to finding smurfs now! They bring back to me many magical feelings & memories...i really love the early small ones.
Anyway, hello & thanks for a great site.

Hello Muddy, great to hear from you! Have you got many smurfs in your collection? Perhaps you could post a photo as we all like to see peoples collections no matter how large or small. It's brilliant that your old smurfs have survived over the years & didn't get thrown away.

Either way you should fit in here easily and if you need any help with anything then feel free to ask. We are very laid back and easy type of people so just post away as anywhere will be fine.

thankyou all! what a warm welcome...
I've only got a small (but growing fast!) collection...i'll borrow a camera & post a pic.
i've always had my guitar smurf hangin around, & i found nine more smurfs from my childhood, but some i used to have are missing, so i've started to try & replace them...but i'm also now getting into buying new ones, not just replacements. I loved them as a kid & i love them now.
i'm really glad to be able to collect again...

Nice to see a fellow smurfer. Your story sounds similar to mine and these blue fellows just bring back happy memories everytime I look at them
