To Davide and everyone involved in putting this one together... Well Done :-D I received mine today :D Quickly flicking through it there were many variations I had never even heard of, but also I did notice alot of marking variations missing (I'm not including dot variations). This is just an observation :???: not a criticism. I hope that this is the start of getting towards a definitive collectors book, as impossible as that may seem, and I hope that with each new addition (I hope there will be others) that Davide will put the word out to make the most of all the knowledge there is here  But again, thank you for the great catalogue  :mosh:

I received the catalogue on Saturday and I bet that some of the content might contribute to a lot of discussions here, e.g. are there indeed genuine variants of the Xmas prototypes or not.
Note that there could be mistake included.
Btw. I didn't know that our Christy was involved as well. :D

I received the catalog today...while I am not sure everything is genuine in there (especially promos and sockels), I love love love this catalog and can only recommend it.

If you liked the DSK, and you love Schleich smurfs and rarer smurfs, this is the catalog for you.

What I love the most is the rarity guide without including a price guide...this will make this catalog timeless which the DSK never was :D :-D

@Moey: I highly doubt that the Paul Revere sockel is genuine.

"What I love the most is the rarity guide without including a price guide...this will make this catalog timeless which the DSK never was." This is damn right. :D

What do you think about the christmas prototypes colour variations?

Postby The Smurf Collector » Tue Jul 09, 2013 1:26 am
I received my book and I think it is fantastic.

The images are really well done as you can actually colour variations. It is also easy to navigate and easy to read.

I just have had my four wisdom taken out and this book has inspired me to retake photographs of all my smurfs while I rest up.

Cheers

I agree with you all that it is great that we have a new catalogue and I like it and it is great with all the Pictures and the amount of work put into it, eventhough as some of you have written many items are not smurfitems. The Kwakitems are still described as testversions. :( But as a fan of Schleich I like them anyway. :D
André

In Sweden the smurfs are blue ( and yellow).
