It was only recently I got a "real" one. For years I thought ours was fine (I bought him as a newbie) then suddenly realised he could be fake. I got an original one recently and confirmed by doubts about the first one. You live and learn.........

Hi Stace, in a nutshell, I noticed that my first one (fake) is a darker colour and the markings aren't very clear. I didn't notice these things for ages, it wasn't until I was a bit more savvy with everything that I even questioned it.
