In Groningen, one can always see the most significant tower, the Martini tower.

Then WT met some of his fellow travellers.
He was a little shy and scared at first, because they looked so different:-))

Where he came from, Sweden, everyone was like him.

But after some seconds, he liked them a lot!:-))

And he went with other strange, new, but nice friends to play in the snow.

Now, he travels on, he is on his way to Arnhem!

( Ron, ik heb het boekje extra in karton gedaan)

I hope to see him soon again!

Awesome pictures Lia,

I really like the ones with the traveller in the front and the houses behind.

And I bet the traveller had a hard time leaving his very nice new travellersmurf friends. :( :-D

In Sweden the smurfs are blue ( and yellow).

Hi, Lia!!!!!!!!Nice to see pics of your city...

And the pic with traveller near your cabinet is great!!!!!!I love it...

I am afraid the traveller won´t find snow when he came to Spain...Well, today it is the coldest the of the season, perhaps -2ºC tonight

Thanks!

@Joaquin, no one escapes from the cold, not even you:-)

@André: yes, it was hard for him to leave, He wanted to stay with his new mum, but I promised him that you would give him a few non schleich friends!
I hope, you don`t mind?

He has one friend who looks the same but with Bully markings?? :o

Lia,

I couldn´t help laughing at your words:
"Where he came from, Sweden, everyone was like him."
It is so true.

And I promise I will try to get a few different smurfs in time. :-?

But then I would start with very nice CNT´s, Hering, minimodels etc.

You have so many nice fakes so I guess he has to visit you again then.
And maybe he finds better friends when visiting other collectors. :o

I`m sure, he feels quite happy at your home André! ( with 25 degrees inside)
But you like markings, so it`s not a bad idea to collect marked minimodels, marked Herings and CNT `s ( sometimes even with sticker)
( but it could be a problem finding them)

Great pictures, Lia...I love the snow pictures but my favorite is the one with the cabinet. I bet I spent an hour drooling over my computer while checking out the smurfs in it :smitten:

Great photos Lia! :-D

Really love the one with the old house in the background and of course the "levitating" traveler watching over your cabinet.

That church looks like one we have over here. :) :)

Nice pictures!
Just to let all of you know: He arrived savely in Arnhem, and will spend the night with new friends here!
Even if his smurfs sounds a bit strange to our Smurfs, with some swedish intonation, as soon as some Smurfs started to sing some Father Abraham and Irene Moors smurfy songs, I guess he felt very much at home, introducing also some swedish Smurf songs!
:violin: :twirl: :twirl:
Pics will follow soon, but he is a bit tired now, so I don't want to disturb him...
Greetings from Ron, Aly, WT and all of his new friends!

Here are some first pictures from WT's visit to Aly and Ron, Arnhem, Netherlands.

After a relatively short travel from Lia in Haren, WT first said welcome to his comrade Traveler Smurf.
It was clear where he grew up, because he directly asked for markings (SCHLEICH S™ © 1975 PEYO MADE IN HONG KONG)....

Image

WT was surprised to see his old school teacher, still being active...
Image

He knew there where more worldtravelers, but he was surprised to meet the full set of Snoopy's McDonald's Happy Meal 1999 "World Tour".
Image

We wanted to offer him a nice place to sleep overnight. On his way there he ran into Santa, who just was enjoying some relaxing after the busy busy holidays. Did you know that he looses so much weight during the Xmas period, that he gets himself a new Santa suit AFTER Christmas?
Image

So we came to the hotel which we wanted to offer him...
Image

...but WT first wanted to meet some more friends and have some fun, singing smurfy songs:
Image.

As you can see it was a big party in all the Smurf Towers.
Image

After the party WT was seen enjoying some ice, beer and Smurfette (??)
Image

After that we lost him a bit, only finding him back in the morning catching some fresh air, admiring our street view...
Image

So far for now, we prepare to go into the city soon. He really likes to see some of Arnhem's highlights before travelling on...

I bet he thought it was strange with the HongKong-marking. He had never met anyone like that in Sweden. Yet.

And don´t listen to Lia. The WT don´t think everyone is like him in Sweden. Because he don´t judge other smurfs only by their looks. :o ( eventhough he could be intrested in the marking :shhh: )
