Why are wreath smurf and baseball smurfette so valuable? I have both, but I bought them in the 80s and in my area at least they were no rarer than any other. Does any site list smurfs by geographic release? In an earlier posting, I said I had "most" of the smurfs up to 2.0184. On checking a checklist, however, I found I have closer to 50%. Yet, in those days, I bought every one available in my region (northeast Ohio, later St. Louis). So they must not have been distributed where I was. :-?

Not only was baseball Smurfette only made for North America, they both (and the praying ones) were only made for a short period (1 year for the Christmas Smurfs, I don't know exactly about baseball Smurfette).
:sheep: Bored of normality, why not go smurf? :sheep:

Great! So you wouldn't mind trading them for a standard papa smurf and a Grouchy?

That's a good idea, I think I will start a thread on that so we can all post smurfs which we know are local to certain areas. :D

Now you have hurt my feelings and most likely Syd's as well....not that I know where he is.....still on Chrissy holidays.

Speaking of spunky skaters....our friendly and favourite dragon sent me a very nice package yesterday with a few surprise items including a riveting rollerskater and despite the fact that I had 5 or 6 variations it was one that I still didn't have.......big thanks to David and may the sauce be with you :D
