Thats mad..I don't think I paid over 30 pounds for any of my musters
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Firstly, I have to agree, the price is going VERY high for the Muster smurfette. I know it is a rarer item with certificate but still. Must be the reserve price. :-?
keep asking myself this question, why doesn't a smurf collector club exist in 2007. Would there be a way to create one with this forum, like contacting schleich. I'm sure there is a way to. 50 dollar subcscription i don't know it could be a damm good idea.
Hi Sam, firstly, I completely agree with Attom, this forum has turned into a very nice club. I think in this day and age, the internet forums are the modern day clubs, whereas in the past everything was newsletters because it was the easiest way to communicate with likeminded people.

I also agree with Gerda, in the 80's, the smurf market was huge and it was in Schleich and IMPS's interests to keep the collectors informed and happy. These days, I am guessing sales are no-where near as big and there are other lines being manufactured that make much more mony. Maybe you are right though, with the movie due out next year and the 50th Anniversary also, maybe there are plans to go HUGE! :fingersx:

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

Hey Staci,

I love the beach from The Jersey shore to the Florida Keys. I was a teenager last time I was at Myrtle beach but usually try to hit the Ourtbanks or Hilton Head a couple of times a year! I'm trying to persuad my husband to invest in a second home in the Outerbanks. I'm not sure how the smurfs would like that Salty air.......
Doreen
