Hi, Staci!!!!!!Tenerife is an island in Athlantic Ocean about 2 and half hours from my city by plane...(about 3000 km far), so I think I´m not going there soon...It´s a nice place to visit: all surrounded by the sea, and always more than 24ºC... :surfing: :surfing: It´s a place where there are lots of fans of ornithology...and my father is...The birds called "canary" are from there...Tenerife belongs an archipielago called CANARIAS...I say it´s a really place to organize a smurf collector´s fair We can spend there a lovely week :) :) :) :) :) :)

But hope a friend can help me...

Wow, Christy, your Mum brought home some very nice goodies  :) :) :)

Don't worry, Joacquin, you are not the only :banghead: here :) :)

I lived in Germany for 25 years, where you can get smurfs in every toy shop and find old smurfs in a lot of comic stores or fleamarkets, but I didn't find that out until I moved to the US :banghead:   :(

Well, I knew about the new smurfs in toyshops, and did buy a few but not hardly like I am buying them now :D

These look beautiful Christy......I am so proud of Mum and her smurfy finds.

Where should we send Mum next? :) :)

I think Syd is very interested in a couple of those Rollerskaters....but I guess you all knew that anyway.

hi everyone!

this fake addiction I am having or I should say, always had,

is becoming expensive! I bid on some cheapo Mexican smurfs this eve and someone bid over 90 us for each lot! ouch!!!!

I think they notice they are becoming valuable! and its killing me in getting bargains!

its so hard now for me to buy unusual fakes at a low good price!

but the good thing is other collectors are starting to see how cute and individual they are!

ok... slap me! I;ve been drinking too much crown royal this eve!

I should go out and harass people! instead I am here getting bombed!

yahooo!!!!

I understand the dilemma Attom but I am not bidding on anythign at the moment so at least I am not contributing to the rise in the fake market for you.

Other than that..... cheers Attom :D

Wowaroonie!! They're fantastic. My parents have just gone to Tenerife on holiday & if I'd known there were CNT smurfs to be found there I would have got them to look out for them for me :( Oh well, can't be helped....

Christy, those CNT's are so nice, well done to your mum, nice find ! :D

:-D

I have been watching last months, that CNT smurfs are getting high values ( even more than the prices appearing in DSK)...I suppose there are each time, more collectors so the price is growing... What do you think? For example 15 euros for carpenter smurf with black saw is or not a good price? I live in Spain, but these smurfs are really difficult to find
