I agree, there have been rather a lot around lately. I suppose this could be that these sellers have seen one finish in the past and thought they would try and make some big money. You can often see this but it is also good to see that these generally hold their value.
I also agree, Brad's article is a very good one although as far as I can see, all the current baseball smurfettes for sale are the original 1984 one.
I have recently got the "other" smurfette Thanks to Rae and had some very interesting discussions about it with many very experienced smurf collectors in Brussels. The general opinion was that it could well be real but it could possibly a fake. No one said it was definitely a fake which I found quite suprising and I will be posting a full report on it on Blue Imps in the near future.
