Had a good day today. Another smurf find at the markets this weekend. Went to the Port Markets. Hadn't been since earlier in the year. Nice surprise to find a Meeus bendable Brainy Smurf! First time I've actually haggled as well, lol. Priced $5 dollars so I said, would you take 4 for him. It's cleaned up an absolute treat. I already had a normal smurf of these figures. I really like them. See pics.

Also came home with a power ranger video and David Cassidy record, hehe.

Yeah, I really like the Brainy.

I try to get down the Port Markets once every 2-4 months. Though they never really have many smurfs now days. But was surprised with what I saw today. A few plushes way over priced. There was a smurfette birthday card that took my eye sitting in a cabinet. Blank card. I took a look. Think it was dated 1980 on the back. But card was perfect condition. Price of $5. I didn't need it though so past. Also a small china dish with smurf print, $15. Again, it's all over priced. There are some figures as well at a few stalls, but all the common ones.

It is funny when you look for ages around fairs, fetes and markets and nothing smurfy turns up and then all of a sudden they start to pop up everywhere.......

Good weekend actually. I totally forgot my buy on Saturday. Just realised it as I was updating mysite with the Brainy Meeus. Yesterday I was in Kmart and took a look at the small smurf cottages again that have been on clearance for months now. They were down to $9 dollars each... Now they also have a toy sale on at the moment. 20% off all toys. So I decided to buy a second set of the 3 cottages to keep as spare/doubles mint in box. I know one of my cottages (I think the orange) butterfly was split slightly. So I got them for $7.20 each. Nice buy!

Yeah agreed. You don't find anything for months going to markets so you stop going... then you finally go along and actually find something smurfy.

its nice to find stuff at a flea market, I do the same thing here, wait a few weeks as I recognize everything when I go to often, then bang! a surprise! sometimes..
