:joy: Hi fellow Smurf-collectors!!

My name is Gaby and I am a smurf-aholic! Not ashamed to admit it here :) , even though in real life it is a bit harder to confess my obsession.(since I am 39  )

I am a mother of three young kids, who are starting to look out for the mailman as well, as he might deliver boxes containing blue treasures for their mommy :mail:

My passion started while I was growing up in Germany, and recieved them as gifts from relatives. For some odd reason they never made the journey to Canada ,my home now for 20 plus years.

I usually get all my smurfs off ebay :ebay: and have well over 300 of the blue fellows. I am just into collecting the PVC Figures so far , but will probably branch out when I have them all.

Hope to get to know all of your smurfers soon.

Gaby

Yay a newbie to the forum :D

...but obviously not a newbie when it comes to smurfs.

Welcome Gaby I am glad to see you finally made it here to the forum...what took you so long? :)

You can always confess your smurf addictions here as it's quite understandable you know....but we can all relate to being more closet smurfers in public too.

Nice to see you have joined us here and I think you are doing a fine job influencing your kids that the world is really about smurfs and waiting for the postman.

I hope you enjoy it on the forum with the rest of us blue maniacs from around the world and you get to make many new friends.

Dyar

Welcome Gaby. :welcome:

Your story sounds a lot like mine..... so be warned.... before coming to this board I also only collected PVC figures and since then (about two months ago) I have branched out a lot. :-D :D :-D

Hiya Gabi :welcome: to the forum..glad you found us..you've come to the right place if you love smurfs :D welcome aboard
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Hi :hiya: and :welcome: Gaby!!!!

Nice to meet you :) How did you get to Canada? :) Btw. you needn't be ashamed about your addiction. :) We all love those blue cuties. :) In case of feeling guilty, just confess to Father Attom. :D I'm aged 26 and I have been collecting them for more than twenty-three years myself. :)
Your story about how you were starting to know them, is very similar to mine, since I got my first smurfs from my Grandma, before my parents had to get them for me. :)

I bet you'll love this board as much as I do. :D

Hi Gaby!! Welcome to the forum & thanks for showing us the photos. Hope you have a great time here. There's never any need to be ashamed of collecting smurfs!! Causing wars & being nasty to people are things to be ashamed of. Smurfs are lovely, bright & friendly looking. And fun to collect :D
