Hi all,

I quite sure that somebody already asked this stupid question but I can't find the answer........

I received a couple of CNT yesterday and 2 two of them have the marking

Peyo W.Germany Schleich....

All other CNTs I have at home have no markings but this two have full markings. The one with the TOOTHBRUSH and the other one is the CARPENTER SMURF.
Pleas help me...

hi!

I also have many CNT smurfs and many have markings, and many
have no markings.

I suppose it depends on who made these fakes? some had better fake molds.

alot of the Spanish CNT's have markings as well.. maybe yours are

Spanish? check my website for them.

I (and so do others here) have the CNT Mechanic with yellow overalls which has W Germany markings which I thought was odd too. Not sure why they would have those markings unless they were intended to be licensed by Schleich initially before being rejected. The CNTs are certainly close in appearance and look great with the alternative colours.

Nice topic and info guys, Thanks.

I do have a few CNTs but am definitely no expert on them so it was interesting to read what you guys wrote. :D

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

I'm no expert on them either Rach.....I only have a couple of the real CNTs and I haven't heard a lot of about them and what their history is besides they are obviously Spanish. I wish there was a book that told the history of the smurf figures as there would be really interesting for all us guys as it could also list which promos were released and when and how things came about and more about some of the rejected testversions as well as the more about fakes....ok back to reality.....hang on I just want to step back in the fantasy world and say that the smurf book I am talking about has to be 100% accurate and truthful and undeniable......ok, now back to reality now as I think I used up my wish limit for this year with that one.
