Hi guys :wave2:

I still have very limited access to the internet so apologies for me not being around much but I can assure everyone that I am still smurfing as much as I can. :-D

I have been getting on with taking new pics for Blue Imps (these haven't been uploaded yet), still a few more to do but getting there and I also had a visit last weekend from a lovely lady studying photography and is doing an exhibition on collectors and their collections, particularly focussing on collectible toys. Her name is Juliet Morris and she contacted me a few weeks ago explaining what she was hoping to do. I thought I would share a couple of the pics that she took here although I was quite shocked to hear these pics will probably be made huge to fit a wall, that could be interesting. She has also promised to send me some pics of the pics in the exhibition later this year.

Hope you enjoy the pics. :D

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

Hiya Rachel, glad to see you still smurfing..great pictures..bet you had a big clean up operation after putting all your smurfs back in place :)
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Hi Rach

Those pics are really cool...especially the one where you are buried up to your smurf in.......um, well smurfs.

I think these will be nice pics to keep of yourself and shows that when it comes to smurfing that you are as sane (possibly more) as we are. Juliet had a great collection to work with and the pics look like they were a lot of fun.....except for putting them all back as Steve mentioned.

Is Juliet single? The reason why I ask is that I have a little blue self confessed Romeo that might be interested.

Thanks for sharing the pics and let us know what happens with them.

Hi guys, Thanks for all the nice comments. :-D

It was such great fun to do but I have to admit, all I really had to do was lie on the floor whilst Juliet surrounded me in smurfs. No smurfs were harmed for the sake of art although my language got quite colourful after about the 100th attempt to get a smurf to stand on my shoulder long enough for the pic to be taken.

Clearing up wasn't too bad as we mainly used smurfs that hadn't been added into the cabinets yet so they were all out of order anyway. I am looking forward to seeing the pics of the exhibition and it will be interesting to hear the thoughts of non-smurfers once they have seen them. :D
