Hello, I recently won an ebay auction for a set of smurf pogs, like the ones in the pictures attached, made by animage. Unfortunately, the set came with numbers 40 and 48 (out of 50) missing. Is there anyone who has those two for sale or trade with other numbers?

Those are nice :D I didn't know there were any smurf ones. My daughter Sara has some of the Pocohontas ones but these are much better.

Hi Paolo, nice pogs. :-D

We had a few years ago but not smurf ones so I am afraid we can't help. They are REALLY nice though. :D

These are nice!

Are they a bit like Tazos? (sorry never heard of Pogs before...)

Cheers,

Hi Paolo :hiya:

I've got a near complete set of pogs too - but like you I'm missing 40 & 48 too (+ 44 & 46) ! They must be popular ones!

They are lovely items though - the pictures are brilliant.

How are you planning to display these? At the moment mine are just in a box in the loft, but I was wondering about putting them in sort of frame. Has anyone else got these and displayed them?

Are these the only two you're missing Paolo? I'm sure I had some duplicates if you or anyone is interested :-?

Hi,
I may have been able to find number 40, but I still miss number 48.
I have around 20-25 doubles for this set, I have to check which numbers, so if anyone is interested in exchanging them for number 48 just let me know.
I have other 2 complete sets, one is made of 35 pogs (or tazos, I believe it's the same thing) and is from Caprice de Dieux (a French type of cheese) and another one is made of 20 and is part of a set of 100 pogs, of which numbers 81 to 100 are smurfs and numbers 1 to 80 are other cartoons characters like the Flintstones, Top Cat, Scooby Doo.
I keep them in a folder inside special A4 plastic envelopes with round holes to keep them inside, as you can see from the picture (this is the set of 20 I won from an Australian seller).
If anyone has number 48 of the set of 50 smurf pogs up for sale or trade, I'm here.

I only need number 48 from ANIMAGE.
Dear Xavier, do you have it? Or do you only sell a complete set?

If you want you can answer on the forum or just send me a private message or an e-mail.

I haven't messed up this thread yet so I thought I should say that I really like these Smurf Pogs Paolo & Cathy. I was bidding on some recently in Australia but was outbidded. I wasn't that upset by not winning but looking at your near full set I now think it might of been nice to of one the auction and have a closer look at them.

As you can gather I don't know much about these so I can't help with the missing numbers unfortunately. Paolo & Cathy, please let us know whether you do end up locating the missing ones or not.

Good luck

Hello to everyone.
I was looking through my pogs, and I just realized that also Merlin put out some pogs. They were sold inside special Smurfs collection stickers packets (in the shop here Karen sells normal packets) like the ones in the picture. Each packet contains a normal sticker packet and 4 pogs or 3 pogs and 1 slammer. The complete collection is made up of 72 pogs and 10 slammers. I only have 2 slammers and 26 different pogs, so if anyone has them up for sale, please just tell me.

I still miss AVIMAGE pogs 40 and 48, if someone has them for sale, please PM me.
I thought I found them, but something strange happened. I opened a new topic on the ebay section about a very strange auction that ended last week.

And of course I will buy every Merlin smurf pog someone might have... I have to complete the set (if possible).

Just to bump up this topic...
I have been able to find more pogs, thus completing one set of 50 AVIMAGE pogs. I still miss number 48 to complete a second set.
In the process I have collected more than 60 doubles, so if anyone has pog number 48 I will be glad to swap it for all my 60 doubles!

Postby paolo » Fri Jul 07, 2006 6:52 am
My doubles are now only 30, but I'm still looking for pog number 48 (it is the one with a happy smurfette among flowers).
If anyone has it, I'm willing to buy or trade for it!
Thanks to everyone and greetings from Italy.
