I can't seem to identify what this smurf is.. he is about 3 inches tall. Hard plastic has the markings peyo wallace berrie on it's bottom. and two holes that look like he was hanging from something in his hands. The holes don't go all the way through, I've searched the books and can't seem to find where he belongs too
Does anyone have any clues to where he is from :-?

Good luck with that auction Attom..

Strange little guy to pop up like that... I'm sure he broke off of another toy somehow, I can't beleive he would be sold as is with the holes there and the way the arms are....

Hi Gerda

Sorry for my late reply but I wanted to have a look for you and I think I have found it......it was used by Nasa as a more stylish red nose on the front nose of the Space Shuttle.

Seriously.....check out Tina's book on page 15 (Unauthorized Guide To Smurfs Around The World....also known as the purple one :).....or as I call it Prince). There is a smurf inside a transparent plastic bubble which I think is the one you have. It's listed as a Baby Toy.

I just tried to post a pic for the members who don't has access to the book but I have about 5 pairs of flat batteries and none of them has allowed me the courtesy of taking a pic.

:banghead: :banghead:

I will charge the batteries tomorrow and post a pic if anyone wants to see it.

Thank you!! I looked throught all the books I had before posting and completly missed that... Yup that is definatly the one I have.. I'm surprised it came from one of those balls as in my expericance those seethrough ball toys are pretty tuff. But that is the smurf!!
thanks again!!

Thanks for posting the pic Gerda :D

I like looking for things and finding them on page 15 for lower :)

Once again I recommend Prince (aka TBSKAP - The Book Strangely Known As Prince) for anyone who is interested in smurf odds and bobs.

Let me just add to that Gerda.......or a condom for those who get a little excited about smurfs and/or the postal workers that brings them.

Dyar

PS - I get a lot of newbie postal workers...do you suppose they send them down my street with smurfs as some sort of initiation....or are they the ones that just get the shortest straws each day?

It may explain why some packages just never turn up :-?

I've had 4 go missing so far this year including a couple of decent sized ones. It's never a good sign when the 2nd package that was posted a week and a half later from the same seller turns up first is it?

:( :( :( :(

I'm sure they do.. my postal lady helps sort the mail in the morning and then she works at taking mail in the afternoon, she normally informs me when I am getting something and what size it is and then asks if they are more smurfs...

HOpe your packages turn up dyar... that would be a shame to loose all those smurfs. I would love to work at the unclaimed package place just to go through the boxes.. I would walk out of there with my pockets full....

Nice detective work Dyar, I didn't recognise Gerda's mystery smurf either. :-D

I agree, a bib is a must whilst looking at this book as there are just so many lovely photos and all set out so well too. :smitten:
