Hello. I have taken photos of my smurfs on display in my new cabinets from Ikea. Just added 6 more new smurfs into my collection this week. Glad I'm finally able to display them. I might move the items that are along the bottom, out and back onto shelving to the right of the cabinets, so then I would be able to fit more smurf items down the bottom that are boxed up in the wardrobe.

They look excellent Brad...somuch better than having them in the drawers like you had them before.

I bet you must be really happy seeing them all displayed like that for the first time.....although I think you already need more.....the story of all smurf collectors.

They look so much better than how I display my collection.....I'm so jealous of the Ikea Club now.

They look great Brad ! :D

I bet you are glad you got them now, they show off your collection really well ! Are they Power Rangers on the bottom shelves ?

:-D

Thanks. Yes I'm happy I brought the cabinets. They do display my collection really well. And actually make my bedroom look bigger. I thought I'd have to wait until I moved out of home and setup a smurf room before I could display my smurfs. Who knew I only had to get a full time job to do this, hehe. I haven't had my smurfs all out on display since the mid 90's when my collection was only around 50 or less.

Only problem with these cabinets is that the shelves can't be adjusted.
So I couldn't add anymore shelves in.

And yes, that would be my Power Ranger action figure collection down the bottom. Every ranger from every series to date, since 94 (or when it began), to this years series. I have a large PR collection hidden away in the wardrobe as well. Another childhood obsession I haven't managed to stop collecting. hehe.

actually I can now notice all the smurfs that aren't in too good condition or missing accessories :( The supers are all a pain because most of them don't stand up. I think I'll have to make a list of the smurfs I wish to replace and keep them in mind for next month at the Toy Swap Meet! yay.

My son loves Power Rangers Brad, especially the girl ones, but he has only watched the last 3 series, but that collection you have looks great :D

I especially like the girl ones as well :) :-D I download the new series each week now for the past 5 series. I started collecting these figures back with the original series, and somehow I managed complete sets each year, even when I stopped watching for a while or wasn't interested. Only missing an original MM white ranger. Have all 14 series sets and a lot of other PR toys (like I said, hidden away in the wardrobe). I alternate between Smurfs and PR collecting.. and I think PR is recent years had taken over from my smurf collecting. But I am now getting back into the smurfs and also with my collection now out and not hidden away and forgotten, I will start buying more.

yes, that is an excellent idea. I was thinking about make some sort of stand/steps for the smurfs to stand on each level. So you'd be able to see them all. Might look into that next hey.

I bet it's nice to finally have them out of the cupboard and on display. 8)

Great collection :D

Won't be long and you'll be needing another cabinet , unless you put the power rangers away to make some more room for the smurfs :) :)

Those are nice cabinets Brad :D They show off your figures beautifully. I'm lookinf for a cabinet like that but 90cm wide! I haven't found one yet in my price-class :( I find €1000.00 upwards a bit hefty!

They look wonderful Brad, they show off your smurfs fabulously and it is great to see that they fit the buildings including the windmill so well. Good choice and another job well done by Ikea! :-D

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......
