Really Linda? *runs off to look for Ezydvd*
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

I ended up watching all but 2 episodes last night.
Wasn't that first episode "Squeaky' a little up setting.
I'd never seen any of these episodes before.
2 more to go! I think I also need to go back to Meagan's Oz day episodes because I had at least 4 left to watch from those.

Unknown what 7 episodes are featured on this dvd.
Looking at the cover though, looks like the purple smurf ep but that is on volume 4.

I hope Phil is thinking what you're thinking Linda........a nice present for the new 2 time mother......I know if I ever get pregnant then I will be expecting at least a Schlumpf-burg from Mrs Dyar.

Always good to hear the updates Brad...thanks for that :D .....I do have vol.8 now and look forward to getting vol.9 eventually.......and promise to finish watching vol.2 very soon.

Episode listing for Volume 9 posted at Magna Pacific website!

-Volume Nine
s2-Ep60. For the love of Gargamel
s2-Ep74. Smurf Van Winkle
s2-Ep69. The sky is smurfing
s2-Ep70. Turncoat Smurf
s2-Ep84. Papa's Wedding Day
s2-Ep77. Clumsy Smurfs the future
s2-Ep82. The stuff dreams are smurfed of!

At this point, I can't see them going back to season one episodes they've skipped. Volume Nine has Season Two episodes. I have episode listing for vols 10, 11 and 12 but these are yet to be confirmed (submitted to classification website). But they look correct, and they continue up to season three episodes.

I made up a little smurf cartoon checklist so I can tick off the ones from each season...it's pretty basic but if anyone wants a copy then just let me know and I will email you the checklist.

Good to see they are still bringing out new volumes Brad :D

Dyar
hehe, yes I have a checklist as well in an excel sheet.
Lists all episodes and I mark them off with each volume, so I know what is out on dvd and what isn't.

I wish that set could be released over here. The only episode that I have ever seen on that collection is "Clumsy Smurfs the Future".
Robin, you dog, you- Vanity "The Adventures of Robin Smurf"

I just realised that the cover art for volume nine has changed!

I did wonder why the previous cover photo was from a previous ep released onto dvd.

Does anyone know if there is a second box set? I've got box set 1, and wondered if they are going to put all the others onto box sets?

Not yet. But I'd expect the second sometime before the end of the year. I'm not sure. I actually haven't seen the first combined set anywhere in stores here. Hows the set? Other than the box art, I'm sure the covers of the 3 discs are the same as the volumes.

I'll post news when the second is to be released.
