I have received a couple of packages yesterday and today so I would like to share some of my goodies with you all.

1 & 2 - These are vinyl colouring in books. They come complete with about 8 mini coloured pencils and sheets of smurf drawings to be coloured in.

3. This is a smurf head watering can....very handy to keep your garden well nourished.

9 & 10. Some wind up walkers....I also got the Trumpeter but I need to repair it as the Trumpet has come away from the mouth.

11. Patriot (light blue variation) - I have wanted this for a long time and never thought I would actually end up with one....but saw it at a reasonable price and couldn't resist.
Image
12. Hurdler (Portugal) - This isn't an easy variation to find and now completes the Hurdler variations I needed according to the DSK. You can see the the brown Hurdle doesn't actually have the painted white bars like the other variations of this super smurf.

These 2 houses came today which I am really happy about

13. Fake Cottage with Snail - Ever since I saw Attom posting one of these that he bought I had wanted one but they are not that easy to find...well not for me anyway so I snapped this one up straight away.

14. Fake House - This is the 2nd one I have of this design (the other having a red & blue roof).....I think these are really nice fake houses.

I've just bought one of those Johan plushes, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice they are and have just told Graham to go out and get the Gargamel one for Harry cos they are so nice.

You've got a nice selection of goodies there. I've also been buying some nice things recently and my dilemma is.. Do I sell or do I keep? :scratchinghead: :(

If you're asking us for advice then I think you know what we'll all tell you to do about selling your smurfy items don't you?..........

SELL IT TO ME.....AND ME TOO.....NO, NO NOT THEM...SELL IT TO ME INSTEAD.

I still have my Smurfs vinyl books from when I was a kid, and colored in them. I've looked time and time again for some unused ones, as I'd like to scan in the artwork and color them in Photoshop. No luck for me so far.

Good find.

Hi Dyar,

What nice smurfy things!! Have you now collected so many figures that you have to look for other smurfy items to collect, or have you always collected everything smurfy?

Oh for the day when I have so much......

Thank you everyone
Have you now collected so many figures that you have to look for other smurfy items to collect, or have you always collected everything smurfy?
There are still some variations I am after but I have moved away from colelcting them a bit now I suppose. I think I have been influenced by everyone from Attom, Gerda, Stace, Lucie, Karen, Rachel.....well everyone really as I never used to be interested in smurfy odds and ends....but now I look for some interesting items to give the collection a bit more variety.
One wonders where you find all this nice stuff ? :sherlock:
I never scan ebay for items....because I would want everything I see and sadly really can't afford to spend big amounts like I once was able to. I do get emails from people wanting to sell things or from friends that will send me links to auctions that I might be interested in. I have never really serached ebay yet I still seem to see a lot more smurfs that I want than I could ever actually afford. I think Heather sent me some nice links lately and I was able to pick up the St Patricks Smurf display box which is one I didn't have but had been looking for....I won that overnight which I was very pleased about.

I should point out that Stace actually helped me sort out the deal for a lot of those odd smurfy items above (Patriot, Hurdler & fake houses were from elsewhere). It was a nightmare to deal with this seller actually.

1. Seller charges me $23.50 US for international postage. Stace helps me out with the payment via money order because they are in a neighbouring state and guess what?......they send it to Staci's address for $6.50 instead of Australia :banghead:

After rude and arrogant replies I finally demand a refund of the unused postage amount and accepted that I will lose money on the postage to Stace. After many frustrating emails I finally get a refund albeit they pocket $2 for my troubles but I was just happy to get some of it back anyway.

Stace was very nice to help once more and send the package on to me but when it arrives they had left out one of the ERTL diecast cars that I also bought in this deal.

:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I emailed the seller with amazing restraint and mentioned the missing item but after about 2 or 3 days I have heard nothing back from them so far. I think these people deserve neg feedback like no one else that I have dealt with. I am having so many problems with ebay sellers from the US at the moment....which is odd as there are so many really great sellers in the US that I have dealt with in the past.....but some of the ones I have dealt with recently are atrociously bad.

Thanks again Stace for making a very frustrating deal that little bit easier for me.

Dyar

Yes I agree Graham...it makes up a little for all of the times she used to beat me up when I first joined here and was little and defenceless.

I received another smurf package today...I'm having a good 3 days days (probably cos the post office has been holding onto them for a while).

Here are some more pics of today's additions:
