I wish you all the best, Karen. We're all thinking of you here
I'm not sickly - I'm Brainy!

You ain't seen nothing 'till you've seen SMURFETTE.

Hi Karen
I just wanted to share one of my favorite poems with you .

Footprints in the Sand

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.

He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.

He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:

"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."

The LORD replied:

"My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

Thanks for your kind wishes everyone.

Things are calming down for me now but I have realised that I don't have as much spare time as I used to. I am working with smurfs all day and I would like my time on the forum to be a relaxing time, a break from the daily grind, and with as little pressure as possible, it shouldn't be an extension of work for me. The forum is an entity in its own right, and is run by several moderators and not just by me, so it will obviously tick along nicely by itself anyway. I would ask that if anyone has a problem with what somebody else has written then please contact this person directly, I have had a couple of instances recently where people are expecting me personally to police every aspect of the board and I simply cannot do this. I know that if any of the moderators notice a real problem that they will immediately put it right. If you do have a complaint about someone then it is better to take it up with them directly and not via a third party, most of our members are lovely people who would hate to think they'd upset someone.
I would like to get back to posting eventually but in order to keep looking after my family in the way that they deserve, and also my customers in the way that they deserve, I really do have to devote more time elsewhere at the moment. I hope people will understand.
