Hi everyone,

I thought this was interesting...

Thanks to Raelene who noticed it first, I found myself with two ceramic figures which I thought were the same, but then they're not! Take a look at the picture below... one smurf has a white shirt and the other one has regular blue upper body....

Then I've checked the markings under the figure and even if both were produced in 1982, one was made in Korea, and the other in Taiwan. I was wondering if someone knows anything about these color variations, if there are some other variations on the other figure of the set of 4. If you have some variations of these of your own, it would be great to leave pictures......

Best regards to all of you from Canada

Hi Baboune, nice variations. :-D

I remember something being mentioned about this before with a couple of the Christmas porcelains. I *think* it might of been Staci who knew more about it. I didn't realise there were different markings, that is great to know and you have shown them very well with your pics on your site, Thank You.

Can anyone else remember the previous discussions? :?

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

Yes, Rach, I knew there was this Christmas variation -- the other variation I found was between my Brainy ceramics. I never thought to look at the markings though...I will have to check now.....

Ok - my regular Brainy is Made in Taiwan but the shorter fatter Brainy is missing his sticker, so I don't know if it's made in Korea or Taiwan. I'm glad Daniel mentioned this as I hadn't thought to check for different countries among the ceramics as well.
:dory: Staci :dory:

Nice variation Baboune...I have noticed some of your great variations in the Candytoppers on yoru website too which made me check some of the new ones I got around Christmas and lo & behold...I found some variations which I wouldn't of even checked for in the past.

Love the website.

No worries Baboune :D I didn't notice the first time i looked at the pic either. It wasn't till i saw a pic of all 4 christmas ceramics together that i noticed it.

Smurf with a snowman is the last one i need in that set 8) Oh and the Night before Christmas music box :D
I love looking at your ceramics and feves on your website, the pics on your site have helped me see which ones i'm missing.
I also need the Ceramic Mushroom Bank to finish the other set :-D

Always something on the list :???:
