Check out Karen's shop:

If you never used one of these Katalogs before, I would recomend the top one. It's far from perfect, but it will give you most of the basic info you need.

But please note that some of the color variations in there are far from proven to have originally been released by Schleich... so use your better judgement. If in doubt, ask here, everyone will be happy to help.

Ah, which historical figures would I like to see made into a Smurf...

Apart from many of the suggestions already made (but please, no Elvis):
Gargamel as Nero (burning the Smurf village?)
Archimedes (Eureka) Smurf
Vesalius Smurf ( )
Van Gogh
Churchill
Einstein
Gandhi

A Madonna Smurfette (with pointy bra) would be fun. I'm not sure about the Imelda Marcos playset though, thta's perhaps more a Barbie proposal than a Smurfette.

And for the national costumes, the only one I definitely want is an Inuit Smurf.

And for fictional figures:
Yoda Smurf
:sheep: Bored of normality, why not go smurf? :sheep:

I have finally uploaded the updates to my website including some of the smurfs mentioned here. New include: William Shakespear, Little Bo Peep, Julius Caesar, Cleopatra plus some more. :D

I'll pop some of these on the Smurf surgery section in just a mo. :-D I definately have to reorganise what content I already have and maybe for the smurfs in different national costumes I should download regional pictures as their backdrops.

Still I have spent all new years working on smurfs and the website so if I see another smurf I'll go mad...<looks around>.. AAARRGGHHH they are everywhere. :banghead: get them off me, they are all over me, my computer and collections room. I had better do some house work today as its the end of the stat holidays here and if I don't clean something the smurfs will be living in squallered conditions. :???:

over and out
Daryl :-D
