Does anyone have this marking on a Secretary Smurfette? I can't read this one very clearly and it looks like there is an "I" in there which is confusing me.

It's one that it's in my shop and I was confused by what looks like an "I".

I have the W.Berrie Co & The W.B.CO at home so I will have to check if mine has the same thing too....very strange.

Hiya Karen, the ones with pink dresses have West Germany on their arms. The white dresses , one has W.Berrie and Co written on it , the other has W.B.Co on it. But no i on it. Lucie

Hi I have both colour dressed smurfettes, my white dress smurfette same as yours w.ir.co, and with 3 on right heel smurfette is mid blue

I just checked my three scretary's out and one has the W.B & Co markings but between the W and B it does look like an I. It looks like the markings may have been stamped on at a later date and the "I" shape may have been a tooling mark. I know this isn't the way it happens of course!!
Who knows really??

Mine looks like an "I" inbetween the WB and the CO too. My pic doesn't show it too well especially at that angle but it definately looks like an "I" so I am guessing it's the same as your one Tam.
