What do you guys think? Is this a colour variation or a overexposed pic?

Hi Fram, hmmmmmm a tricky one. I don't have the orange variation to compare this one to and as you say, it could just be the light. I would say go for it if it is very cheap just in case but I wouldn't risk much money on it as it is so hard to tell. :D

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

Watching the catalogue, it may be variation three. Red, but with the different stick (thicker). :-? I'm watching him :-D

I haven't bought him in the end, as I don't think it is the orange one, and he had some paint rubs, and I have to keep my limited money for other ones (as there are always other ones  ). So we'll never know! Thanks for the answers anyway 8)

I have doubts about the existence of an original orange variation. I know some of mine are a lot more orangy that others (I posted pics in an earlier thread somewhere I believe) but they are nothing like what appears in the DSK photo. I have never seen one like the one pictured in the Katalog and although that doesn't say much I am still a bit doubtful that one exists.

But the seller to whoms auctions I may no longer link and whose pictures I may no longer post ( I don't know if I can use his name either, so we'll call him the con artist formerly known as P***, or TCAFKAP for short) has an orange one (which looks very red in his pic) for sale for only 60 Euro? :)

If TCAFKAP has one then they must be real :D :)

I think I have the same ones as the above pic Attom but the are nothing like the pic in the DSK. If an orange one does exist then I tend to believe that the ones like I have and the pic above are about as close as we are going to find to there being an orange variation. The one above also looks to be in bad condition to some degree so it could even just be age/sunlight that has lightened them.
