Ok am I going mad here? Most of the Omo smurfs are based on the original molds for the 2 inch pvc smurfs. I was looking at the tennis one though and he seems quite different. Is there a tennis smurf I have forgotten about that he is based on?

Yes I looked at that one but the stance is different, and with all the other omos they seem to match the pvcs exactly. So I guess it means they didn't match the pvcs exactly? :-?

I think you are right Karen:

Out of the existing 16, I think these are different:

- Secretary: holds pen next to face instead of end by the mouth
- Teacher: holds book vertically instead of horizontally
- Mallet: is it me or is he positively smiling????? :) :)
- Pointing finger: As a complete different stance
- Rollerskater: I think her face is more turned towards the centre
- And obviously the tennisman...

They're very cheap looking, so it's fair to say they haven't spent much time on the moulds!

Hi guys, I had always assumed that the OMO promos were "loosely" based on the PVC figures. The pointing finger one differs the most to me but as David points out, there are quite a few that are slightly different to their PVC counterparts. :D

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

I am hopeless, I didn't even spot the difference with the secretary. I did notice the pointing finger one was different though.
