Hi guy's, We require some of your expert knowledge on the Old smurf house front. We have for a few weeks tried to find an old house with red roof. We have received four, and when ive checked them closely i think they are infact all orange variations. We have a stickman logo , a west germany and a Hong Kong. Im puzzled can anyone help . Lucie & Simon. Ps are they supposed to come with a ladder ?

Hello again, i know the picture above makes the house on the left look red, but when you see them in the flesh so to speak it looks orange

Hi Lucie

The ladder never came with the large houses as far as I know. I have what I consider to be the red & orange roofs but the red is a very pale red so it may be down to a personal perception.

I did win this other house a while back which was accidentally sent via surface last week It looks to be a dark red roof from the pic with brown windows and brown window frames.

Thanks for the reply , the reason we asked was because when you put the new smurf house with the red roof next to the old smurf house which has the darker roof . The new smurf house roof is definately a red roof and the old house i would say has a dark orange roof .
So we were wondering if there was a old smurf house with the roof the same red roof as the new smurf house Simon & Lucie

The one in this auction looks like an old large house with a red roof (same colour as the small house). Nice auction, Germany only though.

You've got me thinking Lucie that I need to take pictures "out of the box" of the houses I have in the shop to make it easier for people. If the one you got from me is a duplicate of something you already have then I will take it back if you want.

Hiya Karen, thankyou but the one we got from you is fine. We were just amused to find that Simon has now bought four other houses and we found that they are all orange variations. He was getting perplexed until i inspected closer and they are all different. The hong kong version is smaller, we have a stickman logo on one and the other is W. germany. I never realised that there would be so many different orange variations. He also has quite a few version of the smaller houses in different colours too.

I should check mine again Lucie as I know I have several different orange variations and I am also sure that they have HK &/or WG Schleich Emblem markings. I have been meaning to put something together on large houses but I wanted to wait until I received the one I posted above as it is clearly different to the ones I have at home.....maybe we could get everyone to check their houses and let us know what they have (markins & colours) so we can get a better idea of what's out there.

I am thinking I may have to buy one of those large houses in the new box from you Karen.....let me know if you get really low on them in the near future as they seem to be sold out where I was going to get them from.

By the way, I've not had a problem getting these. I am struggling to keep stuff in my head right now so please don't rely on me to tell you when I am low on stock because I probably won't remember.

Anyway.....the one I was talking about was the old large smurf house with the red roof but in the new blue box.....but then again I guess it could of been anything now......are you still out of schlumpfburgs?
