Don't know if anyone saw this on ebay but there have a been a few of the happy meal collector's sets on sale the past few weeks. I saw this particular one last week, original unopened box , as a BIN for 99GBP and it didn't sell. I decided to look again this week and it was a regular auction....so to make a long story short, I figured I'd have a bid on this and try to win it for my birthday yesterday, which I did for only 22GBP (way under my max bid too)!!! Much less than they obviously wanted to sell it for. I cannot wait to get this and open it right up I hope it's the real thing and not just an empty box!! Fingers, toes and eyes crossed

It is supposed to be a limited addition set put out by McD's (now correct me if I'm wrong here) that was available to employees only (??) or did they actually sell them in the UK? I know they were released in 1998 for the smurfs 40th anniversary too

It arrived today and it is PERFECT! I took pics but need to upload them from work so I will post them in a couple of days. How many of these were issued? Was it 1000 or 5000 or more? I can't seem to remember
