No i don't think so Rachel. They still had another 5 boxes with smurfs on the counter. Maybe thats just the last of what they have at the moment.

Well today when I was grocery shopping in Coles lo and behold what did I see.......mini smurf dvds!! They were hanging on the shelf in the lolly aisle.

Then I went to the BP to get petrol and they had mini dvds also. I saw Care Bear ones...there were some blue ones in a box behind it but I couldn't see if they were smurf ones or not..There was a huge queue and I didn't want to hold them all up.

Those smurfs sure do get around.

Yes they sure are getting around Linda.
There are currently 4 of those mini dvds out.
Another 2 are being released at the end of next month.
I've brought them for collectors sake and haven't taken them out of packaging. If your buying the dvd volumes, you'll see that these episodes are on them.

Adelaide royal show is next week. Looking at the show bag guides today and I hope we see a return of the smurfs maybe in the future. They have a couple of care bear showbags this year. Would be good to see the smurfs back with a showbag.

Dyar, I went through all the boxes and couldn't find one Cyber smurf I'm sorry.

Sorry to cut this short but I'm doing the final touches to the shop so I'm busy busy busy. I received ALL these smurfs the other day and I am dying to show you all photos. Will do so very soon.

It looks as though the Cyber Smurf was not included in the order to Kmart...either that or people bought up big on that one smurf

I was at Marion today and looked in on the smurfs in Kmart. They still have a lot of boxes and a lot of smurfs. And they still had two of the those triangle displays above the returns counter.

But I went into David Jones and brought my first two boxed supers!

Both have been discontinued so it was great to buy these. And they only had one of each so I nabbed them. I didn't realise the Marion store had a selection of supers. I thought they only had the holiday ones... which they did, they had about a dozen of the male smurf with palm tree. I'd never taken a look through them. The city store has lots of them. Next time I'm down Marion I want to grab s40220 School Desk. They only had one of him too. I have a list of the ones I remember seeing today together with a list Dyar helped confirm that have been sold at DJ. So I have to start buying these before I miss them.

I actually had a good day down at Marion. Brought those 2 supers, a lucky find in Target for a 1995 The Bill video out cheap for $6.88, plus put on layby in Big W, seasons one and two of Wonder Women and season one of the Partridge Family. Got a pair of pants and some jocks lol. And McDonalds for lunch actually tasted wonderful would you believe! so I did well out of today. Good family outing... except when it came to my sisters and looking at girly clothes. lol.

Well DJ should be getting the 2005 stock in soon but I don't think there were any new supers this year that aren't already available at DJ?? Not sure. And they seem to be the common ones like the holiday smurf. I need to grab the ones that have been discontinued first off and I better hurry up.

There is something about the down stairs Maccas at Marion that do the best that I've ever had. I always go the Deluxe Chicken Burger. I think it is because they make your food when you order. They don't have pre-made burgers ready. So the food is actually still hot. We grabbed our food and made a dash for the car before someone saw us to wait for our car spot, so we could eat before we left.

I didn't ask at the counter about the triangle displays. They only had the two and I didn't ask about them. Should have though.

Yeah, will do. DJ needs to have a percent off sale now. That would be good for me. Then I can grab the ones I can. The Marion store had another 6 different supers from memory. Then I'll have to make it down to the city to grab the others that are available. And also grab a smurfette bedroom and gargamel lab playset.

The 'deluxe' chicken burger is the best. The normal chicken is okay but I like the deluxe because it as crumbed. I haven't had a beef burger in years. They always seem to repeat on you later. I always go KFC now days. Or subway for lunch!

Hope you manage to get them. I'm not too bothered and will not be down to marion again for a while. I don't know where I'd hang the thing but they look great. Maybe they might still have some of these displays out the back that were never assembled?? The noarlunga kmart had one above every checkout (not sure if marion did the same). But the noarlunga store took them down after the two week toy sale.

I went into David Jones at Marion today. Thought, as I was down there I'd grab another super.... BUT!! The Smurfs are all gone. They no longer have smurfs! DAVID JONES MARION has NO SMURFS... anymore! none.

They seem to have stocked up toys for christmas... and I guess they've taken ALL the remaining smurfs off the shelve. I hope the city store still has smurfs. They should do. They were supposed to be getting a new shippment in before christmas. Will have to check the city store soon.
