Yeah it's possible....I am guessing your Astro also has Hong Kong markings...is that right?

I have a "Hong Kong 1965" and a "Hong Kong 1969" in my collection. The year on the smurf doesn't necessarily mean they were released that year as I don't think the Astro was released until 1969. Not sure why it does has 1965 but I have one so they definately exist.

If anyone know more about the dates on the smurfs.....then please

i do know the astro smurf set was released for the Apollo 11 flight to the moon

not sure the year I think is 1969

so the date of the actual smurf licencing could be more of the year the first smurf item or pvc was licenced.???? not necessarily the astro smurf but any smurf????

I suppose it's possible as smurfs were manufactured from 1965.

If you had a 1964 one, that would be a worry...
