I find it a bit weird that Australia got it first. I know there is a lot of interest down here but I would of expected certain markets to get it first....don't worry too much Steve, I am sure when it is released in the UK it will be a box set or something really special. I am sure it will be worth the wait and if you ever figure out about your DVD player youc an always let me know.

I've had my Smurf DVD since 12th November.
We preordered it from Ezydvd.com.au .

Lot of good that is, i still have'nt had a chance to watch it all.
My husband made me put it away till Christmas.
How CRUEL !!

I told him i better put it on just to make sure it worked , saw about 5 minutes of it.

Sorry Dyar, your post was dated Nov 26 , long while a go. You had mentionned you were showing a picture of the DVD and it looks like the other posts from fellow members seem to enjoy it much but i could not see it. I think i have seen a promotion on a French channel in Montreal about them. I will phone them and find out.

The Smurfs will be out up to volume 7 now. Check it out here. These DVDs are being produced by Magna Pacific which is an Australian DVD company. They usually have quite a bit of low budget titles. If you want further information on these DVDs, then check out what people have said about them here. They are by no means as good as they could be so I hope they release seasoned sets produced by a larger company, so that the DVDs will have many bonus goodies. Till now they are good enough.

Yes they are in Montreal a book of 4 DVD, I think they are in French. I have ordered them by email and i should have them next week. I will show you some pictures of them

in a way, yes i like it, went melbourne for a family event visited Yering winery station... however, i didn't get to sight-see much as it was food, food and more food all week. anyway, it was good to take a break from work. just realised i got dvd vol 4 instead of vol 5.. the one with the purple smurf episode, my favourite take care!

Ezydvd have vol 6 and 7 ready for pre-order already but they sell them for $19.95. Video ezydvd have them usually for $14.95 which is a bit of a saving. I checked them out on Friday and they didn't have them available yet so I emailed and asked when they would have them available for pre-order and told them ezydvd had them available already. Here's their response which I received today.

A month to go until our next releases. Vidz Of Oz .com.au have got the cover art and episodes for Volume 6!



Volume 6 contains the following '4' episodes:

Paradise Smurfed (Episode 18 )
The Fountain of Smurf (Episode 25)
Springtime Special (Between Seasons Special) hr long
The Good, The Bad and The Smurfy (Episode 80 - huge jump into season 2)

Disappointing that magna can't seperate the seasons.
This confirms that episodes will continue to be mixed.

Now we wait for Vol 7 info.
