I just went to kmart to buy slippers which is very exciting in itself when you see the pics and there they were. Like a light shining down from the heavens ....... Smurfs at every checkout. Unfortunatley, being saturday, there was also, mums, prams, kids, dads, grandmas, people, people, people at every check out so after a few frustrated goes at looking at all the boxes without success, I bought the following and will go back late one night so I can search to my hearts content

And how about the daggy slippers I bought, check them out they're my favourite colour and they've got my name on them of course I didn't except to pay for them, as they're mine, but when I got to the counter the guy didn't understand and I had to pay for them anyway but I don't really care cause I got SMURFS

It is quite a pain to not be able to dig through the boxes for smurfs with people lining up behind you. I shouldn't complain too much though because...

I think I have forgot to mention that my 2 snowboarding smurfs from Michelle arrived on Thursday!! So I have snowboarding smurfette.. ticked off my DJstore Smurfs list now. You managed to find the male snowboarder at Kmart Jen? In all the boxes here that I went through I never once found him.

Also on a happy note I brought a butterfly for that red house that I brought at the long weekend toy fair! I came across an oz ebay auction of smurfs that had a butterfly in it. So I thought, why not and sent an email and offered the bloke 5 bucks for it. So that is on it's way to me right now.

Snowboarder smurfette has since been discontinued so you will not find her in any Kmart boxes. You'd only be able to find her at David Jones if your lucky. She must have been in one of those first batches of DJ smurfs and I feel no longer can she be found in DJ. Luckily I won an auction for both of these the other week. Snowboarder is still in this years smurf selection.

And Jen, I wouldn't be waiting for a percent off sale.
You'd be surprised at how well these smurfs will sell.
You need to grab the ones you need as soon as you can.
From the boxes here in Adelaide the selection in each box is different and I only ever saw 2 classic papas. The last time I was at marion kmart the boxes there didn't have many smurfs left. You wouldn't want to miss a smurf. There is a schelich website have you seen? that shows the selection of smurfs available this year. That will show you which ones you'll find at Kmart.

They are $4.99 at KMart here in Brisbane so they probably would all be the same price Australia wide. I hadn't even thought of a KMart toy sale! Imagine the excited rush for smurfs if there was one

The smurfs from Mr Toys were $5.99. I got so excited that they had them I bought some anyway...I didn't even think of the fact I could get the same ones $1 cheaper at KMart. Oh well, I couldn't leave empty handed

I went to Kmart & DJs on Sunday....(no slippers for me though Jen ...or Syd)....I am on the hunt for a super smurf for Gerda (Sleeping at school desk) but they didn't have any at my local one and none at the other nearest DJs either.....although I did pick up a Parachutist, S/ette w/ Baby & Aircraft Captain which were all variations to the ones I had so it wasn't all that bad......has anyone seen the smurf for Gerda (Sleeping at School Desk) at their local DJs?????
