In addition to the #10732 set called "Deluxe Smurf Village" (122 pieces) just mentioned above and can be seen at this link:

http://www.toysrus.com.au/mega-bloks-sm ... /i2553041/

there is YET ANOTHER new 2012 set:

#10710 called "Smurfs Carnival". This is different from the original 2010 release #10713 called "The Smurfs Carnival", though it re-uses many of the same pieces, with a few new pieces (including having 3 figures included with this new version, instead of 2 that came with the older version). I could only find a picture of it at this website:

http://www.manofactionfigures.com/produ ... al-playset

It doesn't give much info on it except that it's unconfirmed box art, and it doesn't say how many pieces it has in the box.

I'm hoping to get all four of the 2012 releases this year, especially the advent calendar which is a refreshing concept to building with blocks. The other three sets are rehashed 'expanded' versions of previous sets, so I'm not as excited about these.

I love the display version naish510 Rugby Smurf posted first. I'll probably keep all mine in their boxes to display for the sake of 1. space 2. an opened collection gathering dust, and 3. the box art on front and back does a marvelous job in showing the perfect look of the final construction.

Thanks to all that gave updates on Mega Bloks. It helped in organizing my collection.

Would anyone know if the Christmas Advent Smurfs Mega Bloks is available in North American retailers, and which ones? Or is is an exclusive to Europe or Australia? I can't seem to find it here in Canada.

I gave up in searching at retail, so I just ordered online. Because it was already into December and this is an Advent calendar, the price significantly dropped. Online regular price is $24.99 U.S.

Right now, it's $9.99 plus shipping at Amazon.com. Definitely worth it.

I just called Mega Bloks head office. They confirmed the Smurfs Advent Calendar was, and is, only available on amazon.com, as an exclusive. No retail store distribution.

Here in Canada, our Winners retail store just got them in...but these types of stores are basically a 'dump off' for products that were previously available at other retail stores or online (regardless if they were exclusive product to that store or not) that is overstock or never sold. Therefore, these items are not part of the original official/regular distribution cycles. Hence, why something like this Advent Calendar exclusive to Amazon.com can sometimes be found at a place like Winners, and other similar type 'dump off' retail stores.

that's interesting....I've gotten mine from a seller who specializes in selling Mega bloks...but he is selling them way overpriced. Will check Amazon for these in the future :D

Amazon.de has it but it sells there for €39.99 plus p&p which is very expensive for the few bricks included!! For €20 I might have bought it.

I run into the same scenario sometimes here in Canada, where it's supposed to be exclusive to one store, and another store carries it. The only thing I can think of, is that it's usually a non-major retailer or non-franchise retailer that comes across the item and manages to get a company representative to sell a few to them...or actually buys them from the exclusive store and resells them higher at his/her store. Third market selling is alive and well in the world of collecting!

I'm not surprised Mega Bloks has different distribution exclusivity (or not) across different continents, etc. Either way, Smurf products are hard to find...too bad we couldn't rewind time back to the 1980's when Smurf products was overfilling toy shelves.

I still think the figures are great! :-D
Just wondering why release the same cook again? Not sure if there are other "repeats"... :???:

As for the sets, will only get them if I find them cheap enough (or in other words with like at least 50% discount).
