I only hope they don't attach (glue) the Smurfs on a card, however, selling a card with the figurine would be nice. Also, I hope they don't put them on a base, there are a lot of publicity Smurfs on a socket...

The new smurf will available for end 2012 ??? strange I did order 2 of them on amazon.fr just to check that cause they said before 5 of december.

I am still guessing something related to the celebration-theme. Like sockels, cards, or books etc??? They made books sold with animals last year. And the olympic-smurfs later came in special issues for Belgium. So I am hoping for something similair.

But could also be something related to the new movie.

A new playset would be nice. My wishlist is endless!!!

It seems according to Pierre that the new smurfs will be like Simon wrote.

The get well smurf will have a thermometer in his mouth and a "ice-bag" on his head. Party smurfette will be smurfette in a champagne-glass. The valentine smurf will hold a heart.

Then there will be more or a special release for the smurf movie 2 later in 2013.

So probably smurf-releases for both january and may.

Looking forward to seeing some photos of these new smurfs! So they will be available January? That will be great to have the new ones beginning of year again. And sounds even better to get a second lot mid-year out before the movie.

The themes... I like. The Olympics theme this year I wasn't too keen on. The figures are nice but I'm not really into sports... or the Olympics... and there are so many sport smurfs done before. So these are a nice change... and slightly different/new theme.

And the second set of movie smurfs. Will be interesting to see which characters from the movie they will use. New characters like the naughties and Vanity and Jokey etc to continue on from the last lot... or still include your Papa, Smurfette from movie just different poses? I don't think they would but you never know.

Apparently there will be two sets of releases...one set (the one Simon announced) will be released in January..and than there will be another set in May.

My guess is that the one in May will be movie related again

Doing some search on Google, all I end up is with pictures from the new Smurfs movie in 2013... I guess they will be making occassionaly figurines of those two (?) fake Smurfs, Vixy and Hackus, who will play a roll in that movie...
