I don't think we are allowed to do so yet, Sandra but I think we can describe them :D

Five of the 2012 will be released in special super smurf boxes, and have the Olympic emblem and Belgium flag on the back of their hats

I am sure they will be available world wide thanks to the Internet and ebay :)

One very interesting thing for me is that it is the first time in ELEVEN years Schleich added new supersmurfarticlenumbers. :-D Eventhough no new molds and no accessories I just olve the boxes!! For a boxcollector this is great news!!

Just like the new smurfs there is a normasl articlenumber missing. Schleich has confirmed to me that there is no item having that number. But supersmurfarticlenumber 40244 is also a number they did not use. Maybe it was used for a item like these new ones??? Kind of a special boxed variation with articlenumber!! :-? :D

I agree, that are great smurfs. Thanks for the information and your effort with sending all these mails, Christy! :D

You are right...But...Can't these Schleich guys think of the poor collectors owning or making a database for their smurfs??? New super smurf numbers for promo smurfs??? So - put the promos in the super smurf index, ignore them or just use the names, but no photos, because there are no "non-promo" super variations of them??? :banghead: :)
At least no number is used twice (like 2.0496) :)

Hi Simon,

Personally I would not call them promos. If Schleich wants to sell something themselves they use articlenumbers like always. So in this case I would compare them with the bundesligasmurfs, which also got articlenumbers.

But for example the Dr Dinch, schleich had no intention of selling themselves and therefore no number in the "normal" articlemberseries were used. Off course Schleich has a number for that also in their system but not in the same series. :-D
