Again..do you have a picture? :o :)

Will these be released at the same time with the others? Interesting that Schleich is moving to boxed sets of the smurfs...I still need to get individual ones of the movie smurfs :-D

Hi

That's great news. But i would rather have 2 smurfs in each box so we had to buy 5 different boxes :-D
And then a European version and an American one.
Ofcourse with a lot of painterrors so i have to buy more boxes !!!!!

Can't get enough of this set, so i hope we are going to have as many boxes as possible :D

Also if Schleich themselves write this, it to me seems they could in some way be connected to the olympics???

Still hoping for a close connection with olympic symbols on some items later!! :D  But probably they could write like this without the connection! :-?

Hopefully they are working on the connection with the Olympic games. If I remember correctly, they got into trouble when they used the Olympic rings on the supersmurf boxes and had to mark thru them.

I think the Olympic games are as protective of their trademark as IMPS is of the smurf trademark :)

I am not sure it was like that Maureen. Eventhough you could be correct.

I think the first boxes used in 1980 were OK with the olympic commite.

Then they used the other boxes also in 1984 but then intentionally blocked the rings since in 1984 in US the olympics went from a very "normal" sport event in Moscow( 1980) to a very commercial event in US in 1984. With the money and costs that goes with it. So I think it would have been to expensive to have kept the logo. But I am not sure they had any problems with it??? :-? I think it still was OK to use the word olympics though? I am not sure about this though and it could have been like you say Maureen that they got into some trouble??

But I am really hoping for the rings this time!! :-D

I can see 2012 becoming another expensive year :) :)

I shall definitely get the two 5er boxes & the 10 individual smurfs. It would be great to find one of the display boxes used in the shops but I've never come across them here as the smurfs are put out on shelves.
