AND the Nominee is.........Not me. Acutally I thought I would be nervous. I had a little trouble with some names, but other than that it went well. Kind of funny when he started asking me questions. The second one I knew it was Why do I collect Smurfs. And blurted it out. Actually I knew all the questions. He sent them too me.
A diffrent guy came than I have been emailing for the last week. I forgot to pull my Smurf lolly pops and Gummy Smurfs from the fridge. So I emailed pic's to them.
Well the story will not air for another hour and about 20 min. But they just did a preview about my collection. Didn't show any pic. But what he said was. The Smurfs Movie. Why one local man's collection is getting national attention. I'm not sure if he ment the Movie was getting national attention or my collection itself. I will let you know.
done really good, Bill...I like that they didn't make fun of you as some do at times...and thought you came across really really well
Just one complaint...would have loved to see Max

Thanks everyone. If you have never been intervied by one of those reporters. First there were only about 3 feet 1 meter between Us. He set up that huge camera on a Trypod. The lens was less than a foot from my face. I guess you saw me kept looking at my computer. I had put a bunch of my pic's on a slide show and paused it. When he started the interview I was trying to turn pause off. I was a little supprised it looked like the camera was 3 feet away. It wasn't and it had a really bright light on top. I wasn't at all nervous. I had trouble remembering the Jakks name, and a couple of other names. I kind of liked my answer to what is my favorite item. I said The last one to come in the door. Which is really true. Wether you collect stamps, Baseball cards or whatever. When You get something you didn't have before or one better than you had. You are always excited. Of couse Clumsy is now after the movie. My favorite.
You have so many things in your collection and they are all displayed in an awesome way. Would be great to see more of it than what they showed as we couldn't see everything.....but what we saw was very impressive.
Well Dyar and Moey; Max was is the back yard. The guy would have never been able to take any pic's or video. The only time he would have left him alone is when I grabbed the quick stepping Smurf. He would have been after me. You also would not have been able to hear anything either. While Max is a good dog, he is relentless when it comes to strangers. He want them to hold him.
