Since the releaseyears, versions and markings of the accessories are hard to find on any website or catalogue I thought I would start a thread and share the info I have.

And I heard Martin maybe would start with the accessories this year this could come in handy. :o

Before 1973

I have these 2 houses for the smurfs from Schleich made before they stopped with smurfs 1974.

Both these houses are made for the smurfs and have schlumpfhaus in the mold on the roofs.

The house to the left is the oldest one and are softer but heavier. Like the rubber on a tyre. The house to the right is harder but lighter and more plastic.

I also have this house. But this house don´t have peyo- or schlumpfmarkings.

This house by Schleich was not only made for the smurfs and it was painted with Schlumpfhaus, Zwergenhaus etc. depending on which characters it was used for.

They also made some changes on the base.

Schleich made the windows nicer, painted flowers on the walls and changed the top of the base. The first bases were made in 2 pieces glued together. They also added a chimney on the roof.

1974/75

Bully made their first house 1974/75. Unfortunatly I don´t have the first version.
I think it is the version Dyar has on his website. The house don´t have the printed Bullylogo on the roof.

But it looks the same as the later one. I am not sure if this was sold in a box or loose.

This houseversion Bully made 1977 and started selling it in a box. The base is the same as the earlier version with handetched marking but they added the roofmarking.

As you see on the box it has only Bullymold-smurfs from 1976 and 1977 on the picture.

1977

When Schleich started with smurfs again 1977, they also started with the accessories. The large house has moldyear 1976 but like the smurfs today I believe they are released maybe a year or half a year after the mold is made. ( unless they deside to not release it until later. But that you usually can see when checking articlenumbers. Moldyear= when the mold is made. Articlenumber= this they give the smurfs when they start selling them)

Articlenumber on this house 40001.

I displayed the houses just like they are shown on the box.

Both these early versions have a hole in the roof behind the flowerbox.
The yellow flowerbox, yellow windows, green key etc. only goes with these houseversions.

And as usual you can find intresting information on the boxes.

This year Schleich started with their first 6 supersmurfs. So my box is probably from 1977/78.

And they also released there first geschlumpfe, playset( without number) and the large house playset.

If you have the first box this is the only thing that should be written on it. Maybe it could be one earlier boxversion but I don´t think so.

These are the first playsets Schleich released after the house.

Moldyear 1976 on wheelbarrow.

And as you can see they used the same picture on both.

The smurfs on the pictures are only Schleichmolds and among them the 4 new they released 1977, thinker, sitting smurf, swimmer and gardener. ( I know this doesn´t go with the years in catalogue, but I have them all on a poster and it says " ab mitte 1977 lieferbar". The gardener( HK) and sitting smurfs have 78 on mold, but I believe this is because during 1978/79 they changed the smurfs to the new, larger form.)

Large house playset have 40009 as articlenumber.

Garden playset 40030. There is a box without number one also. Dyar has this box on his site.

In the first playset the legs on the table and chairs wasn´t straight.

Hi Martin,

I guess you and Stefan( I know he has most of the Schleichcatalogues) could check and tell me if anything is wrong.

Since I don´t have that many catalogues I go by boxes, posters etc.

So every member is free to tell if anything seems wrong. :?

One thing I would like to add regarding the ladder in the first playset.

You should have the thinner version. Sometime they changed it to the thicker version. The Kwak ladder is thicker so I would guess sometime near but before 1990.

I added 2 pictures because it is hard to see on the first.

The wheelbarrow should have the Schleichemblem like it should in the early days. And thinner plugs for the wheels. Not the thicker ones.

1978 UK National

Before adding the new playsets released I would like to add these picture of the garden set.

1978 National started selling smurfs in the UK with their "UK"-boxes.

As you see on this first version box without the number 1, they also released the gardenset before the other.
