... 12 lovely smurfs and a plateful of Haribo smurfies!! :) :)

They said that smurfs were actually really difficult to find and not very well displayed, which was a shame. They only found these fairly recent PVC and no plush or books or anything else except for the loose Haribo. I'm really pleased with my presents though. :) :)

Congrats Hilary! :)
Very nice smurfs!

I've also been to Germany recently (last friday actually) and found our little blue friends in both toy stores I visited. :)

One they costed 2,99€ (very nice price! I was suprised by it) and on the other 3,5€. Can't remember how much the supers were though. Unfortunatly I didn't bought any, as I already had all of them. One the 1st store they were very well displayed on the Schleich stand, all aligned in their own space. The second store had them pilled into a few transparent jars.

Also saw a Smurf magazine, but unfortunatly it wasn't one with a figure, so I decided against getting it.

Can anyone "describe" how do does smurfs taste? I saw a plastic box with them, but again thought it was too expensive just to try them.

I have been eating those Smurfs for years! Luckily enough I go to France/belgium a few times a year on work and I always manage to bring a supply back home!

Since I was little I never knew what the taste was. They have their own unique flavour. I think they are mostly comparable to our blue dolphins in the Uk, but they have a harder texture!

The kids get them for me when they go away... and one day I said .. Y'know, I love the fact I never know what flavour they are, and about ten mins later a kid went "I just went on Google. They're watermelon".

Took all the fun out of it! :)

Jokes aside, they are the best sweets EVER.

Well I have to admit that I've been eating them too. :-D I don't eat them if I get them in packets but as these are loose.....

Watermelon eh? I never would have guessed that!

Sandra, you did well for the price of €2.99. These cost either €3.50 or €3.60. I'm glad you found them more easily. :D

I didn't bought any Hilary, I had them all. Still think that 2,99 is an awsome price, and wonder why they're so cheap there. They cost about 4€ here in Denmark (or maybe more, haven't seen the new set over here yet). And this store is a danish one (and they had all the new smurfs from 2009)... the german store is the one that had them for 3,5. I was only sad that there wasn't a smurf I didn't had so I could buy it.

Watermelon ... yummy... :) Guess I'll buy a pack next time I'm in germany (probably in a month or so). Thanks for the info Al. :D (blue dolphins... didn't really helped me  ).

Nice new smurfs. :D

The Haribo smurfs are sold in the the cafeteria at my school and I guess no other candies are bought more often. :)

Are they chewy like a gummy bear? I wish they had them in the USA!

Oh I miss eating those Smurfies....they were so yummy but also very sickening if you try to eat too many at the one time.....which is what I did of course.

Nice new Smurfies Hilary. I didn't see too many Smurfs in the shops over there too. However in Belgium they grow on trees and I was expecting Germany to be the same. I guess you have to know which shops to go to or where the flea markets are.

Your parents are so cool though :D

The ones in the packet are smaller and have a lighter texture. Not as nice.

Oooh, look at me I'm like Gordan Ramsey!

@Hilary: That was so sweet of your parents. :D 2,99 Euro is a very good price imho. :D Btw. where did your parents went to exactly? Since even in my area, prices range from 3,49 to 5,99 per piece.

@Brad: In some areas, you'll also find smurf ice-cream, which most often is mint-flavored.
