Those abbrecviations are hard, as they often are not to be found in a dictionary (certainly a slightly older one), and you don't come across them in books or movies or TVseries...

Don't feel bad about not knowing as I didn't grow up with a computer so I had to ask Stace what they all meant.....even things like:

BTW = by the way
IMHO = in my honest opinion

and then there are these ones:

PO = go away
P.Off = post office
BILLS = no smurfs this week
VD = very disturbing
BOASYD = Bid on another smurf - you're dead
EBAY = Early bidders and yobbos
DYAR = Dashing, young and....rambling
or
DYAR = Dashing, young and....repetative

BTW, it just occured to me... in Danish they were originally called Snøvserne, before being renamed to Smølferne (Smølf in the singular).
