[Arnhem Smurfs]

Hello!
Introducing Ron & Aly from Arnhem, The Netherlands.
Well, that is where we live now anyway: Ron actually is from "Holland" (and Arnhem is officially not in Holland but there are other forums for that I guess).
Aly is from Romania, but came to The Netherlands in 2005, since 2006 we are a married couple.

Well, as you might guess, we collect smurfs as well.

To Lia: As you now better than all the non-dutch here, Arnhem is certainly situated in the heart, a bit east though, of the Netherlands. But the province is Gelderland, and clearly not in "Noord-Holland" or "Zuid-Holland".
Those two of cours were really the Holland from ages ago when the "Republic of the Netherlands" was formed from the original seven provinces, Holland being one of them.
Commercialy we use Holland of cours, more widely known because the sailors from Hoorn, Enkhuizen, Amsterdam etc who went around the world for ages did actually come from "Holland" .
But here in Arnhem some people might say they live in Gelderland, The Netherlands, not in Holland.

Funny part is also that I am actually "From Holland" since I was born in Wijdenes, a small village in "Noord-Holland"
