You asked to see my Unicef smurf, so here he is (I finally finished him today). His lightbulb is made from a clay that glows in the dark, so he can see his way :)

Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Thanks everyone, glad you like him..I am rather please how he came out..although I think I could do him better next time. I was going to enter him into the competition if they came to the UK, but I never got the chance :(

Like him. I want one. lol so does Moey I think. He is great. I thought it was a pic of Gerta when I first saw it. Well not her pic but her avatar.
P.S. How big is he?

Thanks Gimpysmurf, glad you like him :D

I'm not sure of his height Bill, I can measure him and let you know. I really wanted to get 5 when the euro tour was near so that I could have done the complete set of history smurfs

Hi Steve; I do not need the exact height. Just a guess. 1 meter 1/2 meter would be close enough. Moey said it as a joke but my guess is if you can make them and sell them we all would want one, and would buy all six history Smurfs if you could make them. I am sure you don't have the time to make enough for all of us. But we can all dream.

Wow!!! You've done a fantastic job with that Steve :worship: :thumbsmurf:

Would be great if you were able to make yourself a full history set

Postby steveparkes » Sun Mar 15, 2009 2:07 am
Thanks Sue, I really wanted to do that - I would have bought them for 10 euros, but I don't think I want to pay 30/40 euros for each on ebay. I'd really love to try and do the other history smurfs.

I keep on looking at that smurf, it`s so well made!!
And I never understood why the Eurotour didn`t go to England
You certainly would have done a wonderful job on the other historicals too.
I really, really like this Thomas Edison!!

Thanks Lia, I still have his hair to do so he isn't totally finished yet :)

I never understood why the Eurotour never came to England, maybe IMPS don't think there are any UK collectors :-?

mmmhhh, some very big collectors come from the UK! ;-)
imagine, they went to Poland, and to more countries where `s hardly a collector to be found.
well, IMPS roads are unfathomeable
